The Fellow Traveler

During the lead up to the 2016 elections, I began having more political conversations with friends, neighbors, strangers at the store, etc.. After the election, it became a pretty dark time for discourse. I lost some friends and got closer to others. Still, I didn’t feel the anger I saw online and on the news networks was a productive way forward. As I began to see displays of anger and negativity, I wanted to do something to counter that. I began working on The Fellow Traveler.

While this began as an outlet for positive political messages via overpasses. I want to do more by supporting organizations I believe in and foster more civil engagement in my community. I live in Los Angeles, this city is big. Most of us are surrounded glass and steel more often than our fellow Angelenos. I want to engage, empower, enlighten, and connect.
